- 3/2mm Thickness: By laying thinner neoprene in the high-stretch zones and thicker neoprene in the others O’Neill have optimised the suit for warmth and flexibility. 1mm might not seem like much but by laying 2mm in the sleeves O’Neill have made the paddle action roughly 33% less strenuous than if they used just 3mm.
